Seven Towers Rookie Racers

This is Steven Byrd's plane that he got from Clay. This is one of the original Rookies. I think Steven collided with Ricks plane at right. Or maybe this was one that Steven trimmed the pole with. Or maybe this was the one that he landed on the runway UPSIDE DOWN..... I have lost track of the airplanes Steven has gone through.

This is Rick Bryd's low wing version of the Rookie. It was real
easy to see in the pack. It set a coarse record in January, 2002 with a time of 2:16. Rick and Steven are brothers and they are very competitive when flying in the same heat. Steven and Rick were flying in "CLOSE" formation one race and got a little too close. Unfortunately, both airplanes were beyond repair.
